The Savvina Kniga is the earliest Cyrillic Gospel Book written in the Old Church Slavonic language. It contains the Aprakos Gospel as well as a synaxary or lexicon of worship. The book is one of the “canonical texts” of the Old Church Slavonic language and is widely acclaimed by researchers.
